Isabella's Birthday Party

Kelly's friend Shannon and her husband Isaias had their first birthday party for their little girl, Isabella, in Gauss, Texas that we all went to. The party was at Shannon's parent's house, and they converted their separate garage into a giant play area/rec room. There was a ton of room as you can see in the pictures, which was needed since Isaias has a large extended family. The girls had a great time running around and playing inside since it was too cold to go outside. They even had a piñata that Addison got to hit with a baseball bat! Addison Sings "Twist and Shout"

We have The Beatles version of Rockband on our Playstation 3, and it allows you to play along with their hit songs. Addison likes to sing and make up her own lyrics to the songs. Here is a movie of her doing so to the song "Twist and Shout":

Little Gym Birthday Party for Kaelyn

One of Kara's new classmates(Kaelyn) also had a birthday party shortly after the girls changed schools. This time it was at the Little Gym! It took Kara a little while to warm up to playing with the other kids. She sat in my lap for a bit while I took some pictures. After a bit she got up and ran around having a good time.








Movie 1: We did an activity with shakers where we shook them to a song. Kara was in my lap for this.

Cupcake and Pizza Baking Party

Addison attended her new classmates Ben's birthday party at a baking place for kids. Addison and Kara switched schools due to their previous place having extreme financial issues. We are a lot happier with the new place as it has a much better focus on education. Anyway, the groups were split up into the girls and the boys. Addison did a great job of helping to prepare the cupcake mix, however, she was a little shy otherwise. Overall, the place was fun, however, there were a lot of times where we had to wait for the cupcakes to finish and the kids didn't have much to do.
