We went up to Dallas the week before Christmas to see Kelly's side of the family. Addison was showing off how she could stand up(with help) and saying "mama".
One of Addison's presents was a cube that plays the different instruments of an orchestra, depending on which button you pushed.
Addison is a big fan of couches now that she can stand up and lean on them.
Here she is warming up to her grandfather. Addison doesn't do well at all with strangers, which is why we didn't even attempt a Santa picture this year.
Here is a picture of Addison, Kelly, her dad, and his mother, which is four generations on one couch.
Here she is showing off her standing up abilities in her "Santa's Little Helper" shirt.
She is still fond of eating her hands and sucking on her thumb.
We tried to get Addison to open her presents, but she mainly just liked playing with the wrapping paper after the presents were open. I'm sure next year will be a different story.
Here is a quick snapshot of us with Addison holding her new toy(my new DVD).Kelly's Mom got her a fuzzy Dora the Explorer chair that Addison likes to sit in and tumble out of.
Here are Kelly's cousins and Aunts(on her Mom's side)along with all of the mess we made.
Kelly is reading her new cookbook by the tree.
Here is Addison with Kelly's mom in her rocking chair next to the Christmas tree.
I was checking the pictures on the LCD screen of the camera with Addison on my lap when she starting hamming it up for the camera. She was playing with her new rotary phone toy that clicks when you dial the numbers. We kept joking that none of the kids nowadays would even know what a rotary phone is.
