Pregnant Again!

We would like to officially announce that Kelly is pregnant again! Kelly is roughly 15 weeks along and is due in early July. When we get a more recent ultrasound, I will post it on here for all to see. Kelly is doing well with the occasional stomach upset and achy back. She has not had as much of a hamburger craving as last time, however, they are still a favorite.

Cousin Natalie

We had a small get-together over at Aunt Nita's where Addison's cousins popped by to goof off in the back yard again. Addison constantly played with the water feature, getting her pair of jeans soaking wet in the process. Her hands were also a bit cold from touching the water, but she did not seem to mind. After we changed her into a new pair of jeans, she went right back and got them wet as well. Natalie and Addison had a lot of fun hanging out and walking around together. Addison would talk to Natalie, even though Natalie did not always understand what she was saying.

Wagon Ride and Eating on the Couch

Above are another set of pictures of Addison about to ride around the neighborhood in her new wagon. She will usually let us pull her around for a while, then want to get out and walk around on her own.

As seen in the above photos, Addison wanted to eat under her blanket on the couch one day on the weekend. She rarely wants to eat in her highchair for more than 10 minutes or so now that she is so mobile.

Holiday Update

Well, we haven't updated the blog in a while so we are going to cover all the holidays at once.

On Halloween, we went to a Fall Festival that was held at a local church. She was too young to play any of the games, but she had a fun time walking around and looking at all the other kids in their costumes. They had a little train that her and I rode in. She had a blast! The whole time she was saying "choo-choo". Here are a few pictures of us in the train.

Thanksgiving we went to Dallas. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from Thanksgiving. My grandmother (Dad's Mom) passed away the week before Thanksgiving so it was a somber occasion. However, we do have this one great picture to show the world that John (my brother) wore a suit. It will never happen again so you better download the picture and print it now. Doesn't he look so handsome? And for you single ladies out there, he is single as well. If you are interested just let me know :)

It seems like the only pictures we have from Thanksgiving are these of Addison climbing up and down the stairs at my parents house. She wore my Dad out.

Next we move on to Christmas. Mike and I took off the whole week of Christmas and the week of New Year's. She has loved spending so much time with both of us. This Monday will be rough on all of us as we will have to wake up at 5am to go back to work!!

For Christmas she got this kitchen play set from my Dad and Stella. She has so much fun playing with it. It makes noise as you open the frig door, turn on the sink, and turn the light off and on. She especially loves that light. This is a picture of her checking out the light.

These pictures below are from Christmas morning. Mike and I got her the wooden table and chair set. My Mom got her an outdoor picnic table, which we don't have pictures of yet. She has been playing on it a little this weekend since the weather has been very nice. She isn't sure what to make of it yet.

Later on Christmas day, Mike's family came over and we exchanged gifts with them. Here is a picture of her "pedal estate wagon" that she received from her Great Uncle Ed (Pat's brother) in Chicago. Once she warmed up to the car she always wanted to play with it, i.e. sit in it and have you push her. She isn't tall enough to reach the pedals when they are fully extended. I'm sure by this summer she will have it figured out.

This is the wagon that Mike's parents got her. She enjoys riding in it. When you ask her if she wants to get out of the wagon and walk she says "NO!!". She would rather have you pull her everywhere!! We take her outside to wear her out, not us.

There are also a few videos of her playing with her new toys that Mike will have to upload later on.

All in all, we have had a fantastic past two weeks spending all this free time with Addison and our families. We had a wonderful Christmas and love all the gifts we (including Addison) have received from everyone. Thank you so much! Happy New Year!!
