Thanksgiving we went to Dallas. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from Thanksgiving. My grandmother (Dad's Mom) passed away the week before Thanksgiving so it was a somber occasion. However, we do have this one great picture to show the world that John (my brother) wore a suit. It will never happen again so you better download the picture and print it now. Doesn't he look so handsome? And for you single ladies out there, he is single as well. If you are interested just let me know :)
It seems like the only pictures we have from Thanksgiving are these of Addison climbing up and down the stairs at my parents house. She wore my Dad out.
Next we move on to Christmas. Mike and I took off the whole week of Christmas and the week of New Year's. She has loved spending so much time with both of us. This Monday will be rough on all of us as we will have to wake up at 5am to go back to work!!
These pictures below are from Christmas morning. Mike and I got her the wooden table and chair set. My Mom got her an outdoor picnic table, which we don't have pictures of yet. She has been playing on it a little this weekend since the weather has been very nice. She isn't sure what to make of it yet.
Later on Christmas day, Mike's family came over and we exchanged gifts with them. Here is a picture of her "pedal estate wagon" that she received from her Great Uncle Ed (Pat's brother) in Chicago. Once she warmed up to the car she always wanted to play with it, i.e. sit in it and have you push her. She isn't tall enough to reach the pedals when they are fully extended. I'm sure by this summer she will have it figured out.
This is the wagon that Mike's parents got her. She enjoys riding in it. When you ask her if she wants to get out of the wagon and walk she says "NO!!". She would rather have you pull her everywhere!! We take her outside to wear her out, not us.
There are also a few videos of her playing with her new toys that Mike will have to upload later on.
All in all, we have had a fantastic past two weeks spending all this free time with Addison and our families. We had a wonderful Christmas and love all the gifts we (including Addison) have received from everyone. Thank you so much! Happy New Year!!
