Return to Moody Gardens and Galveston

Back toward the end of August, we made another trip down to Moody Gardens. We wanted to go to the rain forest part of the gardens since we had not been there before. We were pretty disappointed in it over all. There were some animals, however, it was mostly plants. Plants are not that thrilling to kids.

The butterfly exhibit was the largest let-down of all. It was basically a large net with some butterflies in it followed by a small series of puzzles or learning areas about butterflies. Most of the stuff was very uninteresting and it was short overall. We ended up going back to the aquarium out there as well since we knew that part is worth it.
