In preparation for this summer, we enrolled Addison in swim lessons at
the local YMCA. They taught her the basics of how to dog paddle, hold
onto the side of the pool to shuffle, and the basics of freestyle
swimming. They used a slightly different type of floatie that goes on
their backs to allow them a greater amount of movement with their arms
in the water. Addison did a great job even though she wasn't big on
anything where she would get her face wet or go under water. There are also some great movies of the lessons below the pictures.
